This was a very good reference book. It has a lot of information on Leakey and Real County.

3.Leakey, John, as told to Nellie Snyder Yest. The West That Was From Texas to Montana. University of Nebraska Press. Oct.1965. This was a good source. It had a lot of the same information as Granddad and I; it had additional information as well.

4.Sowell, AJ. Texas Indian Fighters of Southwest Texas. Austin, Texas. State House Press. 1986.
This book has a lot of the information found in the other books.

5.Sarah Morales. Sarah lives in Leakey. She works at the school and provided information on the town.

6.Bella Rubio. Bella gave me information on the town’s businesses.

7.Susan Knight. Susan works with the Real County Historical Society.

8.Marjorie Kellner. Marjorie is the project director of Wagons Ho A History of Real County.

9.Serenity Harwood. Serenity gave me information on the school.
